We would like to announce for the first time and call for nominations for the:
Peter Dieter Leadership Award
The award
The Peter Dieter Leadership Award is the highest recognition awarded by the Association of Medical Schools in Europe. The Award is given to outstanding faculty from European medical schools. It is awarded to individuals who have taken on significant leadership roles and made exceptional contributions to the field of health professions education with a profound impact in Europe.
The winner of the Peter Dieter Leadership Award will be presented during the AMSE 2023 conference.
The awardee will receive the award at the AMSE 2023 conference. She/he will be invited to give a plenary presentation during the conference on a topic of her/his own choice related to the conference theme during the conference.
The nomination procedure
Two letters of nomination are expected; each clearly stating the current or former faculty status of the nominee and why she/he should receive the award, including what special contributions he/she has made to the field of health professions education.
Nominations will be accepted from deans or senior faculty members of AMSE member schools, members of the AMSE Executive Committee and from previous award winners.
All nominations should be submitted directly to the AMSE secretariat via office@amse-med.eu.
The submission deadline
The submission deadline is May 15th, 2023
